Onward

Onward was a fun movie, just easy to predict. I love Tom Holland and Chris Pratt, and I think they did a great job of portraying a brotherly bond. It was a funny movie, and of course the animation was impeccable, but it was just kind of predictable. It had a bunch of tropes that Disney and Pixar love to use. I did like the storyline though, and the fact that it was a little different than the path that Pixar usually takes with the family stories. If you’re looking to relive your childhood, and you don’t feel like rewatching Brave, Onward is a great watch/replacement.

logline: When two brothers have the chance to meet their deceased father again, they embark on a quest involving magic, manticores, and wild unicorns.

My favorite character:

  • Chris Pratt as Barley Lightfoot - barley IS chris pratt. i swear they’re the exact same person, or elf, or whatever they are. their mannerisms are the same and he’s pretty funny throughout the movie.

This movie is rated PG. Here’s why:

  • Action and Peril

Something I liked: i swear, Pixar’s animation just keeps getting better and better. how do they make the water and trees look so lifelike?

Where to Watch:

  • Disney+

  • YouTube, Google Play Store, Amazon Prime, and Vudu for purchase
