The plot is pretty easy to follow and it’s not suuuper deep, which makes it one of my favorite shows to rewatch if I need to take my mind off of something or if I’m not willing to go searching for a new show.
The film is described as having an "inimitable look" of manga and video game (particularly 16-bit) iconography with bright colors and graphics mixed into the live action.
The dark humor, timeliness and the thrilling action scenes come together to make The Boys an exciting and fresh series.

for when you’re in a triple-threat kind of mood
Most movie adaptations of famous works don’t do well. But this is the exception. I mean, it won 10 Oscars. A movie version of a musical based off of Romeo and Juliet. The movie actually put the musical on the map which is odd for properties like this.
Everything about this is perfect: the acting, the songs, the production, the choreography, the set design, the score, the cinematography - it truly captures the wonders of Hamilton.
This show gives us a good story, actors that actually look like they’re in high school, amazing original music written by the actors, and the newest teenage heartthrob (thank you, Joshua Bassett’s parents). The series is funny, romantic, and best of all, bingeable.
