logline: In the Outer Banks of North Carolina, everyone either has two houses or two jobs. If you’re in the second group, you’re a Pogue, scraping to get by, living in substandard environments. If you’re in the first group, you’re a Kook, the rich preppy kids that have nothing better to do than beat people up. When one Pogue enlists the help of his three friends on a boating trip, they are sucked into a whirlwind of secrets that make them Public Enemy #1.
My favorite characters:
Rudy Pankow as JJ - for any fan of the show, this is a no brainer. He is a redneck Han Solo. He is quick-witted, yet idiotic. He is loyal to his friends even if that involves him spending time in jail. His attitude attempts to mask his less than stellar home life. Pankow’s acting elevates the show beyond a normal teen drama. JJ isn’t the star of the show, but he might as well be. He steals every scene he is in.
Madison Bailey as Kiara, AKA "Kie" - she is the perfect person to intellectually spar with. She does this frequently with other characters, pointing out the flaws in their hair brained schemes. She starts out as the only female in the Pogue group and this fits her. She is torn between the high society Kooks and her friends, the Pogues.
This show is rated TV-MA. Here’s why:

Something I liked: This is more just what I noticed. This town has a serious shirt shortage. Even when the characters have shirts on, they’re not fully on. No one can just put a shirt on. It’s physically impossible for them to have them on at any point in time.
