Samara Weaving

I’ve recently been getting into Samara Weaving. Not sure if it was my subconscious, or a complete coincidence, but the very first thing I watched on HBO Max was Ready or Not, and then I binged Hollywood almost immediately afterward. I guess I gotta watch The Babysitter to keep the streak alive. All jokes aside, Weaving is a great actress. She’s proven that she’s got great range, with the two roles I’ve seen her play completely different from one another. As Claire Wood in Hollywood, she plays the b*tchy rich girl who’s actually really nice, whereas in Ready or Not she plays the more “relatable” girl, being chased through a giant mansion by her crazy in-laws. Even though I really haven’t seen her in too much, and she’s not super-famous, something about her makes me feel like she’s only getting started with her career.
